Podge Lane returns to his alt-folk ways with the motherly acclaimed* new single Knockabout. This is the first taste of his new record 'Weak Beneath The Knees' out Friday April 24th 2020 via Teip Records. 'It's about embracing the worst fears you have about how people see you, and trying to use that as an advantage, like your using peoples preconceived notions and saying 'Hey, I mean yeah I am that, but also look at what else I am!', Podge told the ethereal voice in charge of this blurb and oh god is anything real anymore?!!

Podge continued 'I was really inspired by Bruce Springsteen, Wilco and Phoebe Bridgers on this one, to write a song with a catchy hook people can sing, but if they look at the lyrics a bit more they might be taken aback. But you know that already don't you?' and he was right. The voice knows all.....
